The principal aim of the association is to introduce persons of all ages background and abilities from any part of our Island to the outdoors and to environmentally friendly beach sports.

We will assist individuals in developing their skills to a point where they become competent and some may even represent Ireland in International competitions.

We encourage and assist friends families and communities as well as the overseas visitors who come to join us here, to get out and about on our beautiful beaches !

Venues – Louth, Meath, Donegal, Sligo, Derry, Kerry, Dublin and some others feature in our calendar.

In 2017 we welcomed sand yachters from across Europe and the Americas to join us and the communities of East Meath to Laytown & Bettystown beach in Co.Meath for a festival of landsailing, during the 52nd European Sandyacht Championship.
